Tips and Tricks


Caring for your new cutting board is critically important to a long lasting life of the board. There are also some properties of wooden cutting boards one must be familiar with. Here is a brief list of everything you need to know:

 

- Do NOT put board in dishwasher

- Do NOT soak board in board in water for prolonged periods

- It is optimal to clean the board with warm soapy water and dish soap soon after you are finished chopping. Make sure no food bits remain on the surface

- Avoid having water and liquid substances linger on the surface for prolonged periods

- Try to avoid using serrated blades on the board as it will cause much deeper and noticable scratch marks
